DMK Development Group names its first CFO
DMK Development Group LLC, a Louisville development and construction firm for the senior housing industry, has named Todd Coke its first CFO.
Coke has 22 years of experience in the health care and construction industries, according to a news release from DMK. Chris Carmicle, president and chief operating officer of DMK, said the position is a new one for the company.
“We are confident that Todd’s health care and construction experience will be invaluable assets that will aid us as we reach new heights,” David Kitchen, chairman and CEO of DMK, said in the release, “This addition continues our investment in the fast-growing development side of our business led by Mike Kitchen’s proven leadership as our chief development officer.”
As CFO, Coke will manage the “execution” of the company’s accounting infrastructure for its development services, the news release said. He also will oversee all financial aspects of DMK, including financial planning, financial reporting, auditing, record-keeping and risk analysis, the release said.
Prior to his new role with DMK, Coke was CFO of FDH Velocitel, a construction and infrastructure engineering business. He also has served as vice president of accounting and treasurer of Trilogy Health Services Inc,, vice president of finance and accounting for Merit Health Systems and director of treasury operations for Atria Senior Living. Early in his career, he was a senior auditor for Ernst & Young LLP and an analyst for Vencor, Inc., the release said.
Coke, a CPA, earned a bachelor’s degree in accounting from Bellarmine University.
Founded in 2007, DMK ranked second on Louisville Business First’s 2014 Fast 50 list, which ranks the fastest-growing private companies in the Louisville area.
