The Goldton at Venice

The Goldton at Venice opened in March of 2023 as an upscale senior living community in Venice, Fl., about 45 miles north of Fort Myers and 60 miles south of Tampa Bay. The three-story, 166,000-square-foot facility offers 167 private-pay units for independent living, assisted living, and memory care. Residents have access to a wide array of high-end amenities, including a theatre, outdoor terrace, sports bar, pickleball courts and heated saltwater pool.

The Goldton at Venice

DMK partnered with Atlas Senior Living to build a new luxury independent living, assisted living, and memory care facility in Venice, Fl., a fast-growing town of about 26,000 on the western coast of Florida. DMK led all facets of the project lifecycle, from site selection to building construction. The project leveraged the largest of DMK’s premier prototype buildings, which is designed as a luxurious offering with spacious apartments and high-end amenities. DMK worked closely with its operating partner to ensure that the building included all types of high-end amenities expected from the target resident population. Such amenities include:

Fitness and wellness center
Heated saltwater swimming pool
Sports bar and outdoor terrace
Spa, salon, and barbershop
Pickle Ball Court
Movie theatre
Putting green
Dog park
Private dining for special events
Library and computer lab
On-site storage spaces

DMK is proud of the agility and flexibility exhibited by the construction team throughout the construction of this project. The project was constructed during the COVID/Post COVID period, which resulted in material supply chain and labor issues. Additionally, the community sustained some minor damage during Hurricane Ian. Despite such hurdles, the end product delivered by DMK was exceptional and the market has responded tremendously.
